We stand a big chance of taking the power away from the Republican Party.
The race is tight, but if we get the 283,000 Latino households in Georgia to vote as part of a large multi-racial coalition working in Georgia, we can flip the two remaining seats in the Senate. This means we take the power away from the Republican party.

The results of the senate race from November were so close that it triggered a runoff election for January 5th. This is a completely new election meaning that everyone needs to vote, whether they voted in November or not. You can vote early in person starting December 14th, 2020 or vote on Election Day on January 5th, 2021
Some counties have the same polling place and early voting locations, but some don't. We strongly recommend you look up where to vote before heading out.
Most early voting locations are closed on 12/25 and 1/1. We strongly recommend you look up the hours of early voting locations in your county before making a plan to vote on 12/24-25 and 12/31-1/1.

Join our in-person efforts in Georgia or remote phone banking sessions. We want to make sure we reach every single Latino who is eligible to vote!
If you’re in Georgia, please join our volunteers who are already knocking on doors. Meeting our gente where they are and having authentic, face-to-face conversations is one of the most effective ways to ensure Latino voters head to the polls.
For your safety and the safety of our community, we will have a strict safety plan in place for COVID. All participants will be required to comply with these protocols and will receive safety training prior to knocking doors. Mijente has also been safely knocking on doors in North Carolina and Georgia and our organizers will be using that experience to inform our process. That said, everyone should assess their own health risks and make decisions that are best fit for their particular situation.

In partnership with GLAHR Action Network and SONG Power we’ve been organizing on-the-ground efforts in Georgia for two electoral cycles. In 2018, we launched the first partisan campaign targeting Latino voters in support of Stacey Abrams. And, ahead of the 2020 presidential election, we reached 370,000 voters through door knocking and remote efforts. In addition to making sure they were ready to vote against Trump, we defeated two anti-immigrant Sheriffs in Gwinnett and Cobb counties. Georgia is a priority state for us and we will continue making sure that Latinos there make their voice be heard.
